  1. the primary award was watch nfl games online free handed to Jay Berwanger, a back from the University of Chicago, in 1935. The award itself is called when John Heisman WHO was a awfully powerful figure within the early development of the school game before death on Oct three

  2. This may well require traveling across the nation to have the ability to analyze and draft prospective players. visit here

  3. I think the guy on the Pirates who you have as ??? is Lonnie Smith. And he wasn't yet on Baltimore since the guy on Baltimore who I thought was Lonnie Smith in this game is white. So I've got that guy on the Orioles as Glenn Davis since he was a main contributor on the team and he's a righty (it says he's OF but he was a 1B so maybe that is incorrect)?

    1. It is indeed Lonnie Smith. And he wasn't traded to Baltimore until late in the 1993 season. And you are ALSO right with Glenn Davis who was a star in the 80's with the Houston Astros.

    2. The trades have nothing to do with it...look at sheffield...his stats are combined from both teams and he is on the the team he was traded to...As is every other traded player during the 93 season...They got there stats at the end of the season...Yes they got some players colors wrong n righty or leftys ...But when the stats match perfect...cmon now

  4. the Pirates blank is Brian Hunter based on stats

The Marlins blank is Dave Magadan he is also on the Mariners in game. So I went with Terry McGriff that wore 11 in ST that year

The Cardinal blank you have two choiced of relief pitchers that wore 41 in 1993, either T. Urbani or T. Burns would work although stats do not match

The Padres blank is L. Lopez.

    1. What Brian Hunter stats? They aren't even close.

Also, P.Pearce throws RH as opposed to Hunter's LH. Then again, it could be a game mistake, as another that I found is how they reversed Brian Jordan and Ray Lankfield's hitting sides on the Cardinals.

  5. The ??? For the Cardinals:
    M. Berle = Tom Urbani

    1. No, it's Todd Burns.

    2. Nice job on Burns. I'm presently in the middle of a Ken Griffey matchup, so I can't verify on the video game, but I went on baseball-reference.com, and you've convinced me since Burns is RH and Urbani is LH. Weird how they seem to both have worn #41 for the Cards that year?

  6. Why didn't Vinny Castilla make the Rockies?!? Makes no sense.

    1. I know - it's stupid. A lot of team players didn't make this game. This was waaay before the days of EA Sports MVP Baseball games where they had players and free agents.

    2. I'm not so bothered by a lack of players considering the game has 25-player rosters, and is the best baseball game of its generation. My beef is specifically with Castilla's absence. He was 8th on his team in games played, and 7th in ABs, yet he didn't make the cut. I don't get it.

  7. Yeah, I think R Williams is Chris James. The stats don't match up but James played for two teams that year, Astros and Rangers. Knowing that, the combined stats still don't add up but James did wear #16 for Astros in 1993 so its gotta be him.

    1. Yep. It is without a doubt Chris James.

  8. The short season is actually 26 games long not 24. I should know for I have played several 26 game seasons which I used to keep a personal record book on. I usually played with the Cubs but I also played short seasons with every other team too. I went undefeated a lot but not usually, Id lose 1 or 2 sometimes. The best overall team I played with was the Angels. I set records with them with most hits in a game and most runs. They had fast base runners and I used the suicide squeeze technique

  9. Let's suppose for a moment that the Pirates' P.Pearce is in fact Lonnie Smith based on his appearance and #. Who could the Orioles player be? I read above Glenn Davis, but I'm not convinced.

    1. You are right. According to the 1993 Baltimore Orioles wikipedia page - they have a roster and the uniform numbers of the players and it is in fact former Houston Astro -Glenn Davis.

      Delete
  10. You must uh, like the Astros? I'm happy to see a reply! My only doubt about Smith was because the game did a good job of putting every player on the right team, but other than forgetting to put him with Baltimore as he should be, the stats check out.

Maaaaan, I just did another baseball-reference check, and it seems like Smith was sent to Baltimore from Pittsburgh on the same day that Davis was released! The former must have led to the latter. Mind blown. No wonder they both wore #27 for the Orioles that year.

    1. That is very weird how the Orioles released Glenn Davis on the same day that Lonnie Smith got traded to the O's from Pittsburgh. So seeing that Smith is the missing #27 player for Pittsburgh, I just put Glenn Davis in for #27 on the Orioles team even though the stats for both teams don't match; the numbers do.

    2. It's Smith....his stats match the end of the season of the combined 2 teams...Pirate player I have no clue...
